I love to redesign many old, wonderful, vintage items into new fabulous functional pieces; I may hand paint a French address on a cool, old, wood-framed window, create pedestal dishes from antique clock faces and glassware or make note holders from vintage metal or glass doorknobs. I am inspired by anything that is French, time oriented, or paper; so I will sew petite purses and bags with vintage beret labels, make Christmas ornaments with clock motifs, and embellish and repair old hat boxes with French dictionary paper or make paper dresses and gift bags from our daily newspaper. Finally I love to turn broken vintage rhinestone pieces into sparkle-y Christmas ornaments--almost everything I make is one-of-a-kind and would be a special gift for anyone.
